Nicecream for BREAKFAST!
Summer-ize your oatmeal with our Nicecream Oatmeal Superfood Sundae. Start with vanilla chia oatmeal, layer in warm berries, and then top it all with a giant scoop of Strawberry Banana Nicecream. Delicious, filling and nutritious!
1 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup almond milk
1 cup blueberries and raspberries
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon coconut sugar
1 pint Strawberry Banana Nicecream
1 tablespoon walnuts, for garnish
1 tablespoon cacao nibs, for garnish
1. In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, vanilla, and almond milk. Warm over medium heat for about 8 minutes and stir regularly.
2. In a sauce pan, warm berries over medium heat, stirring often to avoid burning the berries. Then, add a teaspoon of chia seeds and stir well. Chia seeds will thicken the berry’s juices and make a kind of all-natural jam. Add in coconut sugar for a touch of sweetness.
3. Bring it all together! Spoon the oatmeal into bowl or jar, layer in the berry syrup, top with a scoop or two of Nicecream, and finally garnish walnuts and cacao nibs for crunch!
